Infomercials are one of the most effective ways to advertise, in my opinion. They not only make people aware about the idea of a particular product, but also provide all relevant information. It's amazing! BTW, I love that photo of the temple in Nepal. I have had the honor of visiting it, and I must say that photo makes it look much more amazing than it actually is.

As an employer myself, this would be 1 way to more carefully analyze candidate very quickly. Charisma has a lot to do with job selection in many industries, especially when customer facing. Thanks for sharing the 46 seconds link!

A fitness center that uses only equipment that are shown in infomercials is a brilliant idea. It would give people the opportunity to try out the equipment, as most people tend to not fall for those ridiculous infomercials. Also, it's a good way for manufacturers to make some extra cash.

I agree with Nate; this idea definitely represents a new innovation in the concept of the CV. It's great to see people starting to think outside the box in order to get jobs; certainly this is vital given the current employment situation. I feel that showcasing your capabilities visually has the potential to be a great deal more effective than doing so by traditional means. Not only does it demonstrate creative capability and initiative, it can give an employer a much clearer sense of where you would be suited in a company. Using video allows you to sidestep the application process and anticipate an interview; the employer has in a sense 'met' you without having to arrange this formally. I really believe that we will see this format of CV take off in the coming years.
